Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Hello Third Grade Families! I am so excited to have your student in my classroom again this year! Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Sullivan. I have been a teacher for 11 years. I spent two years teaching Kindergarten in Murfreesboro before I came to East Side. Since I have been at East Side, I have taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and this is my first year teaching 3rd grade.
I am a certified Reading Specialist. Reading and writing are my jam, so to speak. I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Carson-Newman University. I earned my teaching license and Bachelors Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, and my Associates Degree came from Motlow State Community College. As you can see, I love school! I enjoy attending just as much as I enjoy teaching! My hope is that I can instill a love of reading and of school in your child.
Third grade is a fun time! We laugh often, cry a little, and hopefully learn a LOT as we go through the school year. We are working on our independence and preparing for the upper grades to come.
