Our math curriculum is Envision.  We have a digital component to Envision that allows each student to work at their own pace and their own level.  Students are expected to complete two lessons on Envision per week, which equals to approximately 30 minutes on the program.
                                                        Grammar & Word Study
We continue to work on phonics, fluency, and basic reading skills in 3rd grade, however we move at a much brisker pace compared to 2nd grade.  We practice grammar skills daily using mentor sentences, and incorporate language skills in with our Wit & Wisdom curriculum.

In addition to our daily skills lessons, students also have a digital component to our reading program.  It is called Lexia Core 5.  Students are given a benchmark assessment three times a year.  The program places each student on their own individual learning level based on these benchmark results.  Students must complete multiple units and meet a time limit on Lexia each week.  In second grade, the average amount of time students spend working on Lexia per week is 60 mintutes.  They should be able to complete approximately 12 Lexia units in this time period.
