Kids Inventor Spotlight

Excitement in the air was felt as local students were interviewed by Aaron Wartner of the Invention Convention Worldwide program through the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The interview is a part of a Kids Inventor Spotlight is featurde on The Henry Ford YouTube channel and the Invention Convention Worldwide social media pages. Juan Martinez, Jerson Godinez, and Eric Maker 5th graders from East Side Elementary showcased their invention, the One Handed Seatbelt, and described their experiences as part of the East Side Invention Club. They were excited to be asked to participate as a representative from the TN Invention Convention.

 

During their half-hour interview, the students shared about their experiences working together on their invention. They described the different prototypes that failed before landing on their final design. The interview ended with them sharing their reasons for being a part on an invention club with future inventors.
